Miles City's famous "Bucking Horse Sale" during the 3rd weekend in May. Horse races, a rodeo, a street dance, lots of cowboy food, and more. You have to see this at least once
The Range Riders Museum in Miles City. Lots of goodies to see. Plan on at least 4 hours ,but if your really interested you'll probably need more time.
Pirogue State Park located just outside Miles City offers good wildlife viewing & easyhiking on a Yellowstone River island. (A short drive from our park)
BLM Recreation Areas - Several within easy reach of MIles City offering wildlife viewing, rock hounding, hiking, etc. All within reasonable driving distance.
Waterworks Art Museum in Miles City - a non-profit, cultural leader in southeastern Montana providing exhibits, free of charge, that are deemed to be of significance to the visual arts and humanities on a local, regional, national and international scale.
The Montana Dinosaur Trail in central & eastern Montana. Follow the trail to see remnants of these creatures. You may also be lucky enough to see a dig in progess along the trail.
"Visit Southeast Montana" has several 'historic adventure' sites you can visit, explore, and enjoy. There' a whole lot to see. And some parks provide facilities for either hiking, or biking, or both.
