Welcome to Big Sky Campground! By accessing or using our property and facilities, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
- Assumption of Risk
Staying at Big Sky Campground involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Snow, ice, rain, hail, lightning, and wind
- Wild animals, snakes, biting/stinging insects
- Landslides, uneven terrain, falling trees
- Slippery or unstable surfaces, including trails, roads, and campsites
- Fire hazards from campfires, grills, or other open flames
- Exposure to extreme temperatures and changing weather conditions
- Limited or delayed emergency medical assistance due to the remote location
By entering the property, you acknowledge and accept these risks. You agree that your participation in outdoor activities, including but not limited to camping, hiking, swimming, and the use of campground facilities, is voluntary and at your own risk. You are responsible for assessing your physical condition and ensuring your own safety while on the premises.
Big Sky Campground is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from these or any other natural or environmental conditions. Guests are encouraged to take appropriate precautions, including using insect repellent, wearing protective gear, and being vigilant of their surroundings.
- Personal Property
Big Sky Campground is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property, including but not limited to:
- Money, jewelry, or other valuables
- Equipment, vehicles, or personal belongings
Guests are encouraged to secure their belongings at all times. We recommend locking your vehicles and RVs and not leaving valuables unattended. Big Sky Campground is not responsible for any damage caused by natural elements (e.g., hail, wind) or acts of third parties. If you experience a loss or theft, please report it to campground management immediately.
- Swimming Pool Policy
- No lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.
- Posted swimming pool rules must be followed at all times.
- Children must be supervised by an adult.
- No running, diving, or rough play is allowed in the pool area.
- Glass containers and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the pool area.
- Proper swim attire must be worn at all times.
Big Sky Campground assumes no liability for injuries, accidents, or other incidents related to pool use. Guests are responsible for their safety and the safety of any minors in their care. Anyone violating pool rules may be asked to leave the pool area or the campground without a refund.
- Guest Responsibility
Guests must:
- Follow all posted rules and campground policies.
- Respect the property, wildlife, and other guests.
- Be aware of and prepared for changing weather conditions.
- Keep their campsites clean and dispose of trash in designated areas.
- Ensure fires are only lit in designated areas and are fully extinguished after use.
- Maintain control over pets at all times. All pets must be on a leash and cleaned up after.
- Observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM to ensure the comfort of all guests.
Failure to comply with these policies may result in immediate removal from the property without refund. Guests are responsible for the actions of all members of their party and any visitors they invite to the campground. Violations of campground policies, including vandalism, excessive noise, or dangerous behavior, will not be tolerated.
- Limitation of Liability
Big Sky Campground, its owners, and employees shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your stay, including personal injury, property damage, or loss. This includes but is not limited to:
- Injuries resulting from outdoor activities, such as hiking, swimming, or wildlife encounters
- Weather-related damages to personal property, including vehicles, RVs, and equipment
- Medical emergencies or health-related issues during your stay
- Damage caused by other guests, third parties, or unforeseen circumstances
By staying at Big Sky Campground, you agree to release and hold harmless Big Sky Campground from any claims, demands, liabilities, or causes of action arising from your use of the property and facilities.
